Proud Home of the Stingers!

Hello Stingers:

Mesquite is home to over 650 Kindergarten through sixth grade energetic, enthusiastic and excelling students. We take pride in the fact that each and every staff member is committed to helping all students succeed in subjects including Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science.  We strive to expand the knowledge of each student, thus expanding the world in which they live.  With this goal in mind, teachers work collaboratively with their grade level team to ensure that each child is progressing in an appropriate manner.  We take our responsibility as educators very seriously!

For the fourth consecutive year, Mesquite has earned a grade of "A" from the State Department of Education.  We are proud to maintain this level of excellence and continue to strive to do our very best.

Our school welcomes parent involvement and input.  Here at Mesquite, we have an active PTO.  We believe that educating children takes a strong team effort between teacher, student, parent and principal.  Come join our PTO and become a part of your child's educational journey.

The doors of our school are always open to visitors.  We look forward to seeing you and encourage you to come and see the progress each of our students make every day!  Come take a tour of our school and we will answer any questions that you may have.

Please feel free to call our office at (928) 373-4100 if we can be of service to you.

Sincerely Yours,

Connie Jerpseth
Principal
